Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer giving a install NEW printhead message when installing a NEW printhead. Will not allow to clear or cancel the printer install printhead process. I tried a new printhead. It came up with the same message after filling the printhead to replace it with a new printhhead. Before i put another new printhead in. I wanted to see if anyone else has had to put several printheads in to get one machine printing?

Can you clarify the "filling the printhead". Was that done by the printer or did you attempt to inject ink manually? The only issue I could find in my tech documents regards not engaging the locks after installing the printhead.

Do all the ink channels in the printhead appear to have ink in them now? If not, you will need to do further testing but the documentation recommends removing the ink cartridges to prevent triggering a false ink supply error.
