Designjet T795 Error 79.2:04 - No Update/open bootmenu possible

Hello together,

we use a DesignJet T795, but that doens't boot anymore. It initialize up to 26%, then the error 79.2:04 occurs.

First we have tried things like remove the cartridges, the ethernet-Cable, remove the powercable, and so on.

Then we tried to open the bootmenu by pressing the Power- and Abort-Button simulteanously, nothing special happend, it start to boot up to 26% and the error occurs.

Then we downloaded the firmware-update-file IG_15_01_01.fmw, copy to an 128GB USB-Flash formatted with FAT32, put it in the USB-Connector next to the display and start. Then it boot up to 20%, the blue light turn around of the HP-Logo, stucks sometimes and nothing more happen.

Anyone does know, what we still can do to install a new firmware or the enter the bootmenu?

Hello Gruwe,

Were you able to solve the problem with your plotter in any way? I have the same error and am currently ordering a new SSD hard drive, hoping that this will somehow fix the issue.
