Product: Designjet Z3100
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer stopped communicating with the HP Utility over the weekend.  It kept displaying status not available.  I uninstalled the Utility. 

 

Now when I try to install the Utility or HP Easy Start...the installation hangs.  Says it's trying to reach the server but never does.

 

Any ideas?

It gets to this step and just hangs here.

Still no luck installing any software for this printer.  I know it's not "supported" anymore.  But I would think the software should at least install.  The HP EAsy Start stalls at the window behind.  If I try to install HP Utility it says preparing to install and just hangs there.

Eventually I'll get this message, and this message will repeat.  The only way to stop it is to go into task manager and kill the install.

ignor it... mine same everytime pc boots up. but I direct connet via usb....

 

I only use it when I made custom icc profiles.....
