HP DesignJet Z6dr 44-in PostScript Printer with V-Trimmer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello community!

We have a Designjet Z6 and print CAD plans with Autodesk LT. The printer cuts the horizontal empty area but not the vertical. The Printer seems not to realise the vertical empty area and cuts along the papersize. Does someone have or had the same problem too.

Do you have the vertical cutters enabled in the printer setup menus? They can be disabled. You may also need to perform a cutter calibration to ensure they are working properly. The user guide a support.hp.com should provide the guidance you need.

The vertical cutters are on and works. But they are cutting not the empty space of the cad drawing. We use the PS driver and there is the problem.

I tested the PCL3 V4 driver and there it seems to work so far.
