HP DesignJet Z9+ 24-in PostScript Printer

I am using a roll of HP Baryte Satin Art Paper (250 g/m2). It is my 2nd roll that I had lying around from the period when I used the Z3200. After the firmware update, the printer no longer accepts the roll. Even if I want to add it back to the paper list, the paper roll is not accepted. I have tried all kinds of settings but the roll ejects itself from the printer?
Does anyone know a solution for this?

I assume you enabled the "Photo Baryte Paper" HP Baryte Satin Art Paper in the web interface for your Z9? This seems to be the closest paper product name in the built in paper profiles for the HP Baryte Satin Art Paper. If that lets you load it, then run a paper advance calibration, maybe?

I have been having some
misbehavior on my Z9+ 44" with 17" Canson Photo Baryte II not always advancing enough before beginning to print. I may try to make anew profile for it based on the HP "Photo Baryte Paper" but the Canson is a thicker 310 gram paper. Fingers crossed for both of us.

If your paper is really 250 gsm you might try making a new  paper profile based on HP Photo Baryte profile and changing the thickness to medium. The current version of the paper seems to be specified as 290 gsm, which is on the thicker side. Not sure what HP considers medium thickness media versus thick media.

With a slick paper like a baryta type you may need to push the paper into the machine a little more to get it to grab properly too.
