Product: DesignJet 500 plus
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

I have a designjet 500 plus that has always worked perfectly on a network connection.

 

I just upgraded to a Mac Air M2 Chip with Monterey, and now the Designjet is only seen as a Generic Printer with A3 and A4 sizes only available. It is a 42" Roll Feed.

 

Is there any work around or driver that is backwards compatible ?

This printer is ancient. New MAC or Windows is not supporting this printer any more.
