Yes, I still have one. This thing has really been a trooper. I don't use it often but it always seems to work although a bit finicky. Had it working great and tried to change the roll to 36". I had had trouble with 36" rolls before and have been using 24" as of late. Wouldn't take 36" after much struggle now back to 24" and here is what is happening. Cycles up. Head traverses right then back red light comes on and roll and head go through their alignment. Watching it it looks perfect. White marker hits light and roll responds. Cart goes back to left and roll ejects paper. Results in a falshing orange media light. Cleaned alignment marker. Cleaned lens. Wiped down the sensor band(whatever you call the band that runs through the cart and the length of the printer.) I knew I should have left it alone. Have a project due😑

On these machines the sensor on the right side of the carriage is known to weaken over time. It may or may not be your issue. To see if it is your issue, turn off the plotter and with no paper in the plotter turn the plotter on and tell us if it comes to ready or you get the mark encoder error where you have to hit the cancel button to get the plotter to give you the load media light. If you have to hit the cancel button the link below is the item you need.

Thank you for the fast reply. I do not get an error, Status Group promos for Load Media. After loading media and flipping blue lever up it does something but then load media still is lit

That was prompt not promo, but you could likely figure that out. So yeah, I load paper and it didn't change status. Restarted with paper, it went though post, ejects paper blinks Media.Hit cancel, says load paper. Chasing my tail.

Bit confused by your posts. Just tell me when you turn off the plotter and turn it back on with no paper loaded does it immediately come to load paper being lite after it finishes booting. In other words you do not have to do anything and the load media light comes on. Just saw you latest post and happy it is now working. What you describe is common where the first time you try and load the paper it rejects. Most times if you have the top cover up and something stuck in the cover switch on the right you will see the carriage move all the way over then back and then it sort of stops in the middle of the media and rejects the paper. That issue is usually casued by the sensor array I gave you the link. It will also usually only happen the first time and then when you try to load again it accepts the media.
