I have recently bought a new HP computer tower and upgraded to Windows 10 64-bit from Windows 10 32-bit. My Designjet 110 plus wide-format printer which used to work perfectly in Windows 10 32-bit, would not work in the new version of Windows 10. I have installed the driver provided by Windows and I am sure that I have done no mistake. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the same driver but to no avail. I have tried in vain to research the issue and all the information that I could gather is that this model is no longer supported. Now, it is well known that Windows OS is backward compatible and I cannot understand why I cannot find a driver which is compatible with Windows 10 64-bit. Can anybody suggest how I may resolve this problem, please? Thanks in advance for any response.

Hi @agius100
Interesting that the printer worked under Windows 10 32 and I? don't know how because there are no drivers for Windows 10 in any version nor for the previous windows 8 versions neither, the Designjet 110 plus was only compatible under Windows 7, maybe using that driver can be installed as workaround, or try the universal print driver as well.

I have solved the problem using HP Print and Scan Doctor. At first this software did not work because one of its files was corrupted. However, when I uninstalled it and reinstalled it on my PC, HP Print and Scan Doctor fixed my driver for my Designjet 110 Plus in no time. Now my wide-format printer works perfectly even with Windows 10 64-bit OS.
