How to factory reset HP DesignerJet T1700 without using the panel. Error code is 0065-0006-0061. This is a BrandNew plotter out of the box. It did not come with a USB flash drive to load the firmware. Th firmware was downloaded to a personal USB drive, but still is unable to load it.
The message on the panel is, "Restart your device. Check that your firmware is up to date. If the problem persists, call your support representative."
I would like to know if there is a way to factory reset the device without the panel.

To factory reset the HP DesignJet T1700 without using the panel, try the following steps:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Locate the "System Maintenance Switch" on the back of the printer. It's a small button inside a hole.
- Using a paper clip or similar object, press and hold the System Maintenance Switch.
- While holding the switch, plug in the printer and turn it on. Keep holding the switch until the Ready light comes on.
- Release the switch and the printer will automatically reset to its default factory settings.
If these steps do not work, contact HP support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional steps to resolve the issue.
