Microsoft Windows 11

Good Morning All,

I've been fighting with trying to get an Old HP Designjet 430 working at work. It worked very briefly when I first started (about a year and a half ago) but (I suspect) a windows update broke it. I was able to print PDF's to it during this time. We have one old Windows 7 PC that is still able to print to it, but that's it.

The Setup:

Its historically been connected via an Epson EU-44 Ethernet to serial adapter, and I have a new X-MEDIA XM-PS110P.

It was originally setup via a windows print server. If you add it through the print server, it'll add with the HP-DesignJet-430 (D/A1) driver and shows ready, but nobody can print to it.

This email would turn into a novel if I listed out everything I've tried to no avail. My question is - does anyone have an old working HP DesignJet 430 (or similiar) that they have working on windows 11?
