Problem- my Designjet T520 36" will not auto rotate. My AutoCAD drawing is laid out on 24x36 D size sheet in landscape orientation. I have 24" wide paper loaded. Since the beginning of using this plotter, the plotter would auto rotate... Last month, I started to get paper mismatch warning, indicating my 36" wide CAD drawings in landscape would not print on the loaded 24" roll. No matter what settings I change- and I have turned the printing preference inside out- the print comes out wrong. When I manually rotate it 90 degree or manually set the roll as 24"- I played with the setting combinations for an entire day- I cannot get it to plot correctly.
I am guessing since December, due to a new V4 driver dated December 12, 2020, there is a bug preventing the plotter to auto rotate.
Anybody experiencing this? Mechanical issues? Windows Update issues?
-Thanks.

Have you tried download the Designjet and Pagewide Xl Windows installation from support.hp.com
These are not V4 drivers rather PCL3 drivers, worth try. https://support.hp.com/ca-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-designjet-t120-printer/5263073

@Repairatrooper: thanks for the response. Yes I did. I think both the Pagewide Xl and the PCL3 have bugs- different UI but same problem, can't auto rotate, and it doesn't recognize the 24" roll loaded on the plotter! Manually set the roll as a 24" doesn't work either. I spoke to a local plotter tech and he highly suspect a bug, as both drivers were released on 12/16/2020. I got it through Windows Update. Thinking back, I had to deliver some prints to a client and I did that on the 1st week of December, and had to print on an awkward 24x48 sheet size.
