When I open HP 3D Build Manager, the startup screen appears for a couple of seconds and then closes.

This is my error from the event viewer

Hello @Joel175 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

We are sorry for the trouble that you are going through. If you're experiencing crashes with HP SmartStream 3D Build Manager during startup, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can follow to attempt to resolve the issue:

  1. Ensure Software Compatibility:

    • Make sure the software version is compatible with your operating system. Verify that you are using one of the supported systems such as Windows XP Pro, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 platforms.
  2. Check System Requirements:

    • Verify that your computer meets the system requirements necessary to run the HP SmartStream 3D Build Manager. If the system is not up to the required specifications, it may lead to instability and crashes.
  3. Update Software:

    • Check for any updates for the HP SmartStream 3D Build Manager. New updates may include fixes that resolve startup issues or crashes.
  4. Install Required Drivers:

    • Ensure that all necessary drivers, especially those related to GPU and networking, are updated since the software might rely on them for rendering and communication.
  5. Permissions and Access:

    • Verify that the program has the proper permissions to execute and access necessary system files. Running the software as an administrator might resolve permission-related issues.
  6. Check for Conflicting Software:

    • Other software on your system might be conflicting with the HP SmartStream 3D Build Manager. Try closing unnecessary background applications when starting the software.
  7. Consult the Logs:

    • If available, review the error logs generated at the time of the crash to identify any specific errors that can provide clues to the problem.
  8. Reinstall Software:

    • If none of the above steps work, consider uninstalling the software, deleting any remaining configuration files, and then reinstalling it to ensure a fresh setup.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider contacting HP Support for further assistance, providing them with detailed information about the problem, including any error messages and log files.
