Hi @KwareA3,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code "55:11 Line-sensor performance issue" on an HP printer typically indicates a problem with the line sensor in the printer. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.

Check for Obstructions:

  • Ensure that there are no obstructions or debris on the paper path, especially around the line sensor area.
  • Open the printer cover and inspect the interior for any foreign objects that might be interfering with the sensor.

Clean the Line Sensor:

  • Use a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the line sensor. This sensor is usually located near the paper path.
  • Ensure that the sensor is completely dry before closing the printer cover.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Verify that there are no paper jams in the printer. Even a small piece of torn paper can cause sensor issues.

Restart the Printer:

  • Power off the printer, wait for a few minutes, and then power it back on. This can sometimes clear temporary errors.

Update Firmware:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model on the HP support website. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve hardware-related issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
