Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can I please get a link to an older version of HP Click? Or how do I get back to the older version of Click befroe the recent update? The program had an automatic background update to version 4.10.38 on Aug 4th 2026 and now it wont print anything in pdf format.

Same here. Jobs just say "Failed [filename]. Click" (that's a truncated error message) after submitting them. Submitting a job through the (clunky) web interface still works, but HP Click now just says "Fail" every time. I need an older version or a newer version with a fix.

Hi @CLickHelp

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that you are experiencing this issue after the HP Click 4.10.38 update. Since the problem started immediately after the automatic update and is specifically affecting PDF printing.

Please first try uninstalling HP Click and restart the computer. Then Click Here  and try to install again and check if you are facing the same issue.

Take care and have an amazing day!

Niestety to nie rozwiąło problemu, wciąż nie mogę drukowac pdf. Poproszę link do starszej werji aplikacji. Mam starszą wersję na innym komputerze i tam bez problemu drukuje.

Doesn't work on my computer. I even installed the older version and it works until I restart the program. Then it updates automatically...

Instal older version. Than open file location and delete file "update" and folder with fersion that doesn't work.

Although the "HP Click driver" was able to allow me to print my job, that is not what this thread is about. It is about a bad update to "HP Click" which is a standalone program, not a printer driver. We need access to the previous version of HP Click before the bad update, and the ability to turn off automatic update. Either that, or fix with another update, but HP should really keep an extra old version or two around for these kinds of issues. We're in production, we can't afford this kind of down time. Thank you for the assistance.

Thanks for trying to help but that didn't work. Can you provide an older version that I can install?

Hi @CLickHelp

Thank you for responding.

I understand that you would like to install an older version. I would request you to please check the HP Support page for the available software versions. If the older version is listed, you may proceed with downloading and installing it.

Sorry but that is the most useless reply I've ever seen from an employee. We literally are asking for a download link to be made available on the software page, and you're telling us to check the download page. Yeah, it's not there, that's the point. Come on, do better. We need an older version or a fixed version. Not that hard.
