We are trying to use HP Click to send files to our Z6. On two PCs (both running Windows 11), HP Click installed and let us click the little "stop" button when it tries to search for the printer. From there we were able to add it by IP address. On two other PCs (both running Windows 11), HP Click installs but when it comes to the "searching for your printer" screen it does not find the printer nor let us stop the search to enter it manually.
Any suggestions?

Since HP Click works on two Windows 11 PCs and gets stuck only on the other two, I’d compare the network/firewall settings on the affected PCs first. Make sure they’re on the same network as the Z6 and that Windows Firewall or security software isn’t blocking HP Click’s printer discovery.
Also check whether the affected PCs can reach the Z6 by its IP address in a browser. If they can, try temporarily allowing HP Click through Windows Firewall and any third-party antivirus/firewall, then restart HP Click. If it still gets stuck, reinstalling HP Click after removing its previous configuration may help.

One thing we did notice was in the HP Click logs there's an entry saying "debug: event-registration - console-message: preload-djcore-bridge: Failed to initialize: Error: The specified module could not be found." which seems to be right around where a working PC's log and a bad PC's logs diverge.

We figured it out. After comparing the installed software lists, we noticed that the latest Visual C++ Redistributable from MS wasn't installed on the computer that did not work. After installing both the x86 and x64 versions of the Redistributable the software started working. Maybe there's a component that HP Click uses that has some code that is reliant on VC++. That redistributable just happened to already be on the machines that worked, probably installed from another software package.
HP should start bundling the redist with their package to avoid this in the future.
