Have two user who print to HP DesignJet Z9+dr 44-in PostScript Printer with V-Trimmer.
Work stations are Dell Precision 3460 SFF with Win11 22H2 Enterprise
When the attempt to print using HP Click the computer loses network connection and on occasion it seem to lockup the computer.
- I have updated the HP Click software to the latest version
- Update all the HP drivers to the latest drivers.
Did find this on a from a form call Computer Hope Forum:
I would suspect an issue with the NIC or, rather, since it's probably integrated into such, the motherboard.
We experienced a similar issue with our software. A customer reported that one specific workstation when saving a specific moorage reservation would completely lose all Internet. When speaking with the tech that was involved on their side he mentioned that the NIC actually had an exclamation mark after that in device manager, and disabling/re-enabling would literally hang the PC or cause a BSOD.
In your case you might have them review device manager and see if there are any issues reported with the network adapter. That might give some insight.
I don't think this is the issue, because the computer is not having any other network issues.
Has anyone seen this issue?
Thanks for your help
