We ordered replacement cutters from two different suppliers I would guess around two months ago.  We are still waiting for them.  Luckily, one of the plotters hasn't experienced the problem yet.  The leaking printhead and the service station were replaced.  The other is down since the cutter causes jams.  I've been waiting for tickets to come in for others.  We have twelve of them.  There are still a few older plotters around.  We'll consider non-HP plotters when it is time to replace them.  HP really dropped the ball on this problem.

This is a case of blame your vendor not HP. HP Parts store has stock according to the website

Even a quick check of Synnex shows stock in warehouse ready to ship.

Thanks for the response.  I gave the folks where one of the plotters is located all the info to order from the HP Parts Store.  I hope that is where they ordered the parts from.

I have escalated to the moderators, as the delivery time does not seem reasonable for a product that is generally available. My experience with the parts store is that if they show in stock I usually have in a couple of days, not a month.

Thanks.  A ticket just came in for another plotter with cutter problems.  Already told the user there are problems getting replacement cutters.  Also going to check for printhead leaks since we have seen a number of them with the original printheads that came in the plotters.
