Product: HP DesignJet T790

I have a HP DJ T790 and I am trying to get to the out of paper sensor so I can clean it but I can not find it. Any help would be much appreciated.

What sort of problem are you having? The our of paper sensor is simple optical sensor with a flag that is tripped by the paper and they are pretty reliable.

 

You need to remove the cleanout assembly, that is where the out of paper sensor is located. This is on the back of the machine. If you look at the back of the machine with the roll removed, the sensor is on the left side. You are best finding a service manual as there are a couple of steps you need to take to ensure you do not damage the sensor or wiring.
