Product: DesignJet 430
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi all, I have a friend that I have offered my HP DesignJet 430 to, but I did not know if it would work with his Windows 7 or not. It has been probably 12 years or so since we used it. Does anyone know if drivers are available for it? I don't know if his computer is 32 bit or 64, but I would imagine it is 64. Any words of wisdom?

Hi Dan,

The printer is only supported on Windows Vista or later versions.

 

On Windows 7, below-listed models are compatible, the 430 model is not listed as a such:

Regardless of the unsupported operating system which cannot be used with the printer, I suggest printing a self-test report and evaluate its quality before of moving such a printer to any other place, it can be likely clogged after so many years with no usage:
