Example: HP DesignJet 500
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone -

I've been working from home, so I'm using my old DesignJet 500 for prints.  It's attached to my computer via USB port.

It's been working fine for the past year and a half until last week.  It prints 18"x24" and 24"x36" prints in sections instead of one sheet, even though the preview shows one sheet.  (see photo) I've run the printer through the HP print doctor, which shows no errors.

I create these pdfs in Autocad, so I decided to try printing directly from Autocad, but when I pick the printer from the list, Autocad changes the printer to "none."

Do you have any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi @DJFuller

Did your computer recently get any updates ?

What driver are you using normally?

Hi Harry -

The driver is 6.7.2.0 for Windows x64.

My company's IT department recently did an upgrade, but I don't really know what they did.  I contacted them about the problem, and their response was to try removing the printer and adding it back, and/or re-installing the drivers (I received their response after I posted in this forum but I haven't had a chance to try that yet)

Hi @DJFuller

If after the ITs updates you have issues, the driver was affected, I will suggest you deleting the driver completely and reinstalling it back, or ask your IT department reinstalling it for you.
