Hi,

I have an issue with the black depth when printing photos using satin printer paper, no matter what settings I play with I cannot get the black to print a true black. This has left my prints feeling rather washed out and lackluster. We have updated all the drivers/firmware etc and I have tried every setting I can see.

Satin photo paper, print comparison - 1. standard paper selected, 2. photo paper selected (as supposed to)Satin photo paper, print comparison - 1. standard paper selected, 2. photo paper selected (as supposed to)The photo shows the contrast difference between the top print (printed on photo paper but standard paper selected on printer) and the bottom print (printed on photo paper with the correct paper selected). Unfortunately as the wrong paper is selected on the upper print the print quality is poor (stripey) and the ink is sitting on top of the paper and not drying and so can be smeared even hours later.

Any recommendations would be very helpful!

Thanks
