Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello we choose HP DesignJet T1700 to be our new printer,

So we bought it setup it and so on.

Its mostly printing *.dxf format

Now we are expiriancing a problem with the print more especially

When the print is done the printer pulls 40-50 centimeters of blank paper.

After that the roll is cutted but we want to reduce the waste of paper....

We had tried out changing drivers on our print server there are 2 options we test them both doesn`t fix the issue.

Tried to connect it directly to the client machine via the ip and localy installed driver -> same situation.

Set remove blank spaces to ON -> same situation.

Thanks for your time and support.

I can provide more details but i hope the problem is common

Hi @Petar_Petrov

The T1700 doesn't mention the .dxf under its supported print languages as per its datasheet so I will recommend you converting the files to pdf and try printing again. And what driver are you using?

Hello Thanks for your time,

we try with  using latest HP original driver for windows 2012

we try with  using latest HP pdf  driver for windows 2012

When we are printing from PDF everything is ok,

just want to cut the time of converting the output ... but for our luck its not avaible.

Because the default output for our software is *.dxf....

While we use HP Click software to print it prints perfectly from pdf.

Hi @Petar_Petrov

If the pdf prints fine then I will recommend you manually installing the PCL3 v4 driver in a local computer then try printing the *.dxf, please make sure to completely remove any drivers before installing the new one.
