Hello @dreamzstylestud, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

We understand how concerning this is, especially after the printer has been unused for about two months and you have already spent money replacing sensors.

A “Supply System Problem” on an HP DesignJet T210 generally indicates that the printer is having difficulty detecting or operating the ink supply system. Since the printer was unused for an extended period, checking the cartridges and ink delivery system is a good place to start.

1. Check all ink cartridges

Make sure the cartridges are:

  • Genuine HP cartridges.

  • Within their usable date.

  • Free from swelling, damage, or visible ink leakage.

If a cartridge is swollen or leaking and is still under warranty, it should be replaced. A faulty cartridge can cause a supply-system error even when the printer itself is functioning normally.

2. Reseat the cartridges

Reseating the cartridges can help the printer re-establish proper cartridge detection.

  1. Turn off the printer.

  2. Disconnect the power cord.

  3. Remove all ink cartridges.

  4. Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer on.

  5. When the printer prompts for cartridges, use the Ink/Replace Cartridges option and install the cartridges one at a time as prompted.

  6. If the printer identifies a particular cartridge as faulty, very low, or not detected, replace that cartridge if possible.

  7. Once the error clears, print a test page to confirm normal operation.

3. Try a known-good set of cartridges

If the “Supply System Problem” remains, testing with a known-good set of compatible HP cartridges can help isolate the cause.

If the printer works with the known-good cartridges, the original cartridges are likely contributing to the problem.

If the error continues

If the same supply-system error occurs with known-good cartridges, the issue may be further inside the printer's ink delivery system, rather than simply being a cartridge-detection problem.

Because the T210 was unused for approximately two months, an ink delivery or pressurization problem is also worth considering. However, this cannot be confirmed from the error message alone.

Have a great day!

I'm an HP Employee.
