Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good afternoon.

I am a Konica Minolta service engineer. A customer came to our service with a request to help with the launch of a new printer
64-inch HP DesignJet Z6 Pro printers. He brought it himself. The client built it Himself and wanted to launch it. The procedure for starting a new printer was violated. The client installed the print heads ahead of time. The system did not pump the tubes. How do I now restart the printer to the initial startup stage?

And can I get a service manual?

You might find a service manual posted by someone on the web, but in terms of getting a service manual from HP, unless you are a certified HP partner, you cannot get a service manual. Customer should contact HP as this device is under warranty and you should be able to get assistance through HP tech support.

To restart the setup you need to go into diagnostics mode and set the ink tubes as empty which will restart the OOB workflow. My NDA with HP does not allow me to disclose this info. However it is contained in the service manual if you can get a copy of that.

I know how to enter service mode on many printers. It's not the first plotter I've done in 20 years of work. But this printer is new. Not yet studied. Please tell me how to enter the service mode. I'll figure out what to do next.

A quick google search brought this link to a PDF service manual.

I don't work for HP....I just repair their printers.

Good afternoon. According to the description in the service manual, when the system boots, the buttons should light up at some point, but this does not happen. I remind you that the 64-inch HP DesignJet Z6 Pro plotter. Maybe there is a feature?
