Product: DesignJet Z6800

How are people sending jobs to this proofer?

I downloaded the driver from HP and tried sending direct from Adobe Illustrator as native Ai and EPS,

then I saved the file as a PostScript and submitted to the Embedded Print Server using a browser, and each time I get

the same message from the machine: File format not recognized.

Is there a preferred method outside of a third party RIP?

HP Recommended

Save the file as a PDF and print that way. Standard models without upgrade do not include Post Script support. Standard support is for HP-GL/2  and H-RTL drivers. Post Script upgrade is PM CQ745B.
