HP DesignJet T1700 44-in Printer

After I updated the printer with the latest firmware, it now requires a username and password. The printer had an old FW that did not need a username and password to access the FW update page.
Tried to update the FW to solve another problem.

What is the default username and password?

Best regards,

Henning

HP chose to start enforcing password requirements and this is documented in the firmware update read me file that few people actually read before updating.  The default is a random unique code that you should be able to see on the control panel of the printer.

Thanks for the information.

If they had a read me file before about this they should include it again, there is no such file or information on the latest update unfortunately.

Had to look myself, there is a hyperlink in the release notes to information on the new password enforcement.
