HP Designjet 510
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

We have a HP Designjet 510 42" Plotter in our office that we all hook up to thru our network. The problem I am experiencing is when I try to Print from any software and its larger than 24"x36" i have to create a custom page size (example 36"x48") it will not allow me to do so. I receive a message that says "The size is too small or too big". I don't have to Print to sizes larger that 24"x36" very often but considering we use 42" wide paper I would think it shouldnt be an issue. I have went thru my IT dept and they tell me that this plotter will only Print 24" wide, which i find it hard to believe.

Hi,

In order to find the out the size of printer, you will need to find the product code which is situated at the back of the printer, and put that code on google, It will tell you what is the size of product.

i hope you will get the right answer.

Thanks

Thanks for the info. The Product No. for my HP Designjet 510 is CH337A which pulls up a 42" Printer. Product No. CH336A is listed as a 24" Printer.
