We have the T2300 with the scanner unit on top. We have a network folder share set up and have been sending pdf scans there for years. Quite out of the blue, a number of months ago, that failed. Nothing has changed with the shared folder. We have verified folder share is good. I keep getting an error message referencing folder cant be accessed correctly. Our IT people cannot figure it out. Individuals can access the shared folder by mapping a drive to it in Windows Explorer. The NT Service account used in the T2300 Admin site has full access rights on the folder share and has had it for years, but suddenly no longer works. NT svc account is not disabled, works fine otherwise, so I am at a loss to explain. Anyone have any ideas?
Firmware: IG_14_01_01.1
HW Board revision: 70-SUL-I05
ERROR:
Unable to access the shared folder correctly. Check the configuration of the network folder, then check if the folder is shared correctly.

A while back Microsoft started enforcing better security by disabling SMB1 folder access protocols. If that protocol was previously turned on, it is possible that a Microsoft update was applied that disabled it. (and turning back on is not recommended). Make sure that you have the current firmware installed on the printer and have SMB2 or 3 enabled.
