DesignJet T830

Hi all,

I have a DesignJet T830 which scan to folder with. We are having an issue where the file format of the scan is a PDF-A document, rather than a standard PDF.

Is this a limitation to scanning from this device? Is it possible the scan itself is too big? Just looking for some insite on why standard PDF doesn't seem to be available? The scan itself is a 17x22 document.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a setting issue? Log into the embedded web server and check what file formats you have selected as available for scanning to folder. The manual lists PDF, Jpeg and TIFF as possible formats. Normally you are not restricted to PDF/A
