Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my HP Latex 315 printer. A black ink leak was detected in Slot 6 (Error 0x10d01007: INK_LEAKAGE_DETECTED_SLOT6). To access and clean/replace the puncture station, I need to remove the left side cover of the printer.

I have unscrewed the three visible bolts, but the cover seems to be held in place by something else. It doesn't want to come off freely, and I don't want to force it and break any plastic clips.

Could someone with experience please guide me on the correct way to remove this cover? Are there hidden clips or another screw I'm missing?

A link to a service manual or a video would be extremely helpful.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

I successfully removed the left side cover of my HP Latex 315

Now, I need to clean or replace the faulty puncture station assembly (the part responsible for the INK_LEAKAGE_DETECTED_SLOT6 error). The part number is B4H70-67109 (described as PIP, Floater, and ISS connector).

The unit is now visible, but I'm unsure of the safe removal procedure. It has the ink line connected to it and an electrical connector.

Could someone please provide guidance or point me to a resource on:

  1. How to safely disconnect the ink tube from this assembly? (Are there any special tricks or clips?)

  2. How to detach the electrical connector?

  3. Are there any bolts holding it in place that I might be missing?

My main concern is causing damage to the surrounding parts or creating another leak. Any advice or a link to a service manual section covering this would be immensely appreciated!

Thank you in advance!
