Latex 365

I've bought an second hand Latex 365. I've found that everytime I need to change an ink cartridge. The printer keeps asking to "Reseat Cartridge". This has happened with all the cartridges on the machine. I've had the local tech out and after a lot of cleaning and parts swapping between my other hp latex printer we determined that it's a fault with the software of the printer. The only way I can get the printer to recognise the new cartridge is to put the brand new cartridge into my old Latex 310 printer. Have it recognise the cartridge, then remove it from the 310 and place it into the 365. After that the 365 works perfectly. I'm using all genuine HP inks and heads. The machine is regualry serviced by the local HP agent / tech. It's had the latest firmware update. I've made a report for HP Technical Support but there is no way to contact them or get let them know of bugs. Anyone got a solution to this problem. I really want to keep having to cycle cartridges around.

Have you tried a firmware update?

Yes, it is running the latest firmware, NEXUS_07_10_03.1
The issue existed before and after the firmware update. The update didn't help. It's obvious that HP has changed manufactures of the cartridges over the last few months, as they are different. My theory is the chips are incompatible with the printer.
