Z3200ps
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

Hi.

Where can I get a copy of the Start-Up Kit CD?

I bought a second hand printer (44" model) Z3200PS and I've been printing via USB until now.

I decided to use the network cable, but apparently I need this disc to install it on my network.

Thanks!!

You do not need a Start up Kit to set up on the network.

Once you attach the Network cable you should get an IP address on the front panel, If the unit has an IP address from the previous owner, then it is probably set for Manual settings. You will have to change it back to DHCP from the front panel.

Above is a link to the Z3200ps (44") to download any Print Drivers you may need.

Once you have downloaded the Drivers on your PC, go to the Devices and Priters page and choose ADD PRINTER and go through the set up for Local Printer and TCP/IP using the new IP address you have. When you get to the point to choose a printer, click HAVE DISK and browse to the driver you downloaded.

I know this is pretty vague but if you are familiar with PC then you should be able to handle it.

Good Luck,

Roy

Thanks Roy for your help. I did eventually get the printer recognised on my network. The link you gave me takes me to a software package installation HP designjet Click which I installed and discovered the printer okay, but when I try to print with it I see a message "No roll loaded". I use only cut sheets at the moment, and I don't see any option to change to sheets. Is this correct? Thanks

Using Qimage I have now managed to print over the network (thanks!) on to cut sheets. Will accept your answer, and the roll only issue is not that much of a deal breaker for me, but it is puzzling and will prevent me from using that particular software...
