I just re-installed my HP Design Jet T120 printer. I have an HP Compaq 6000 Pro Small Form Factor PC Windows 10 64 bit, installed with USB. I disconnected the unit a year ago when I moved to California. It has been in storage (well crated) until now. It worked perfectly when I disconnected it. I am getting an error at startup .. ..The printer is not able to complete the load because it cannot detect the paper, try using a different a paper (yes two a's) and avoid transparent paper types. If the problem persists. HP Support referred me here.
Prior to the error, the printer recognized the multi tray, using plain paper I'm trying to print on 8-1/2" X 11". When successful, I will load a150' roll. The paper I am using is Advantage 90 (g/m2) Premium Bright Inkjet and Laser Paper (Bright 97). How do I get past this?
Thank You, Bernie
