If you're struggling to print to an HP T520, the issue might not be software-related! Try adjusting the sleep mode from 20 minutes to 60 minutes—power cycling alone may not work. Once changed, the printer is more likely to be found, and updating firmware becomes much easier. Hope this saves someone weeks of frustration like it did for me!  Now, the HP Click software is working again as well as the HP Designjet Utility.
