I have an HP DesignJet T520 plotter that I changed the printhead for a new one with new cartridges and it gives me the error: Not enough ink to initialize the printhead. I have tried with another new printhead with new cartridges and it gives the same error.

Did you use the cartridges that come with the printhead? The system looks for the tag on those setup cartridges.

Yes, use the cartridges that come with the new print head.Yes, use the cartridges that came with the new print head. I used a second set of new print heads with their own cartridges and I get the same error: Not enough ink to initialize the print head. Is there any other way to unlock the new print head? I saw a video where a technician puts a new print head to work in a printer that is not the HP T520, he says that he uses it to release the new print heads.
