I need help! My paper won't roll straight from the roller. I noticed the end of my paper roll was gone. It's called a blue spindle stop. I vaguely remember tossing something in the trash that was laying beside my printer a while back. My question.... Is the blue spindle stop (as HP calls it) a part of the paper roll or an official part of the printer? THis spindle holds the roll of paper in place on the roller. Another words, you put the roll of paper on the roller, then slide the spindle stop on the end of the roll to secure it. I've looked EVERYWHERE for this piece from HP, and it dawned on me, could it be a part of the roll of paper you order. Some have a black place thing and some don't have anything in the middle of their roll of paper. I am desperate to find out. I can't even find a spindle stop on a sight to buy. HELP!!!!!!

It should have come with the printer. Does it look like this?
Do a search on ebay. They're available. Also, do a search on google for T520 spindle. Might pull up some other places selling.

@Bev_62 Part number for just the spindle ends (both the blue and the black) is CQ893-67009. You should be able to get them from the HP Parts Store. You can also buy a whole spindle assembly for either the 24" or 36" models.
