Hello everyone, on my HP T 520, I mainly use 2 types of roll media (classic white HP paper and translucent film).
I have to change the media regularly depending on the work to be done. I have to change the media regularly depending on the job I'm doing.
The price of the film is such that I have a problem with it and it's a waste of paper for the planet.
Of course, the printer seems to look at the alignment of the paper, but when you change the roll in the same hour and it has already been cut just before by the plotter, it seems unlikely that the paper or the film is not straight anymore.
Is there a setting to disable this function.
Thank you.

Should be the reverse of the enabling process.

Hi, thanks, but this is not really my issue. Cutter works fine after a print job, no problem. My problem is each time I load up another paper roll (by example switching between vellum paper roll to regular plain paper) the plotter cut off 10 cm in the width.
Best regads

For the application you have this was likely not the best choice. Frequent paper change applications are usually resolved by using a dual roll plotter, but those would be considerably more initial outlay. Looking over the service information on this plotter I see no ability to disable the trim after loading function, and this is likely to ensure that the edge of the roll is always straight and properly aligned.
