Hello,

We have two plotters in our studio and we're having some issues with our Designjet T1200.

Everytime we install a new grey ink cartridge, it prints some work without any issues and everything seems fine.

But after a couple of days iddle, the printer shows a strange message of defective ink cartridge.

We have updated the firmware to TT6-TTAJ_8.4.0.1, but the problem subsist.
Could someone give me an idea as how to solve the issue?

A second issue has to do with the start button. After shutting down the printer with the On/Off button, when we try to restart it, there's no answer from the printer. We must unplug & plug it again in order to restart the machine.

Any ideas? Thank you so much for your help.

OEM or 3rd party ink?

Good morning @Repairatrooper

We use only OEM ink cartridges, if that's your question.
