Hello we own a Designjet 500 with HPGL2 Card.

Since we are not able to print on windows 10 anymore with usb or parallel interface, we would like to buy a Jetdirect internal EIO card (we have one slot free, next to the HPGL2 card).

I am very confused about the compatibility of the more recent Jetdirect cards. On HP site (https://support.hp.com/lt-en/document/c03647298) they write that the most recent compatible card is Jetdirect 635n , and that 640n is not compatible; but I do not know if the HP documentation is old.

Is that confirmed?

What about 690n and 695nw ? We would like the wireless functionality if they will work.

Can someone clarify ?

Thank you

Unless someone has already tried it and can confirm I would lean towards believing the HP documentation in this case.
