Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server 2019

Never had such a hard time.  We have HP DesignJet XL 3600 PS MFP . I know LDAP exist as I have VPN client authenticating thru our Fortigate Firewalls using LDAP.  What is so strange is from printer web I can Security>Access Control>Access Control> LDAP sign-in server and I test with my MS domain name it works just fine.  But when I go to Settings>Address Book it will not connect it only give error "operation failed".  When I use domain\administrator account and it I just use the administrator account I get Operation Failed.  I've tried so many variations to no avail.  I called the HP support and they could not figure it out.
