Hi all, I just bought and set up my new HP DesignJet Z6 24in printer and I seem to be having issues with print quality, I have cleaned the print heads and ran the Paper advance calibration tool also made sure the print quality is set to quality before printing.

Can anybody help please?

Thank you.

Is the firmware up to date? Have you confirmed that the correct driver is installed? Have you tried a different file. If the tests are good then it might be a corrupt or incompatible fle.

In addition to what Repairatrooper suggested, there should be some demo prints listed in your printers front menu.  You might try printing one of those and see if they come out okay.  That should help determine if it's a printer problem or the file you're printing.

Hi, thanks for the reply but I think I figured it out yesterday, I had a feeling it was one of the photoshop layers causing the issue on that particular print so I saved the .psd file as a TIFF file and made sure to discard layers, I then printed with HP Click instead of direct through Photoshop and the print came out without any issues.

Thanks.
