How do I enter email contacts without using ldap? I cannot find it on the panel or on the web page.

I was going to suggest the user guide but it is darn near useless. They do not talk about a local address book but that is what you would be looking for.

I ended up calling HP and they said if you don't have a domain for ldap then there is no address book on this model. My customer has 3 email addresses but must manually enter them each time they want to scan. I had to ask him again and he confirmed it's a limitation of the machine and he know of no updates coming to add it.

That is not a very user friendly approach. Not everyone, especially on a smaller unit like this, has a domain. If enough people request the feature maybe they will add it.
