Designjet 76dr v-trimmer
I installed a new printhead and the console says printhead has errors and replace. I restarted and reinstalled this printhead several times with no success. Is the printhead bad? Printhead stamped date is Jun 2024.

Printhead rejection can occur if ink has built up on the left ink collector. Easy to see, look inside on the left and you will see a plastic grid over some foam. If the ink is built up on top it stops the process. Clean the ink off, update the firmware to the current revision, which fixes this issue and then you should be able to setup the new printhead.
