Before you go through the effort with the oops sensor, make sure that you do not have a leaking printhead. I have seen this issue a couple of times and the leaking printhead results in the line sensor becoming covered with ink and malfunctioning and the result is an oops sensor error when there is nothing wrong with the oops sensor. Open the window and the cartridge access door and look carefully around and under the printhead for ink. If you see that, you must replace the printhead. You will also need to clean the line sensor. If the line sensor brush is too badly damaged you will also need to change the service station. The safest way to try and clean the brush is to use water dampened q-tips and clean by placing the qtip at the base of the brush and roll it up to the top. DO NOT press down on the brush as this will deform it.
