HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e All-in-One Printer

My office jet keeps stopping midway through print. There is no time or reason to it, it just stops. It will stop doing anything at all for a few minutes up to an hour then it will either restart document entirely or just spit out the page it half printed then continue on. I replaced the printer once and nobody can answer my question as to what might be wrong. ive uninstalled and redownloaded all software twice, reset printer, tried using different devices and nothing. There are no errors shown when it does this. Any help is appreciated

@mammak1415,

Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check Printer Connection:

  • Make sure your printer is connected to the network (Wi-Fi or USB).
  • If it's Wi-Fi, try moving the printer closer to the router or reconnecting to the Wi-Fi.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Go to the printer manufacturer's website and look for any available firmware updates for your model.
  • Follow the instructions to update the printer's firmware.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions that could cause the print to stop.

Check Printer Queue:

  • On your computer, open the "Devices and Printers" or "Printers & Scanners" section.
  • Make sure there are no stuck jobs in the print queue. If there are, clear them.

Use a Different Printer Cable or Port (if using USB):

  • If you're using a USB connection, try using a different cable or USB port on your computer.

Adjust Printer Settings: (Refer - Sleep mode)

  • Check if the printer is set to go into sleep mode too soon or if there’s an energy-saving mode that’s causing it to pause mid-print. You can adjust these settings in the printer’s menu.

Reinstall Printer Driver (again):

  • Uninstall the printer driver completely and restart your computer.
  • Reinstall the latest driver from the official website, making sure to select the correct model and operating system.

Test with a Different Device:

  • Try printing from another device (laptop, phone, tablet) to see if the problem persists. This can help determine if the issue is with the printer or the original device you were using.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue

Thank you for the tips, I have done all of those things multiple times unfortunately and the issue still persists. I have received a new printer same make and model and it's having the same problem regardless of what I do try and remedy. I'm wondering at this point if maybe it's just the printer make and model itself? If I am still on warranty will they refund or replace with something different do you know?
