Product: Officejet 7110

I installed the printer via hp Smart App. All worked fine. The printer was used few years ago and I wanted to use it again. But the warning light is blinking and the app just said that there is a problem with the warning system. I don’t know what that means? The color cartridges were left in the printer over the years, but they seem fine. 
can I do anything by myself to make it work again?
