Designjet 500ps

Designjet 500ps will cut paper when changing paper but will not cut after printing a page. Will go to the location of the cutting tool but will not pick it up.

Reference this document on troubleshooting cutter issues: https://support.hp.com/ro-en/document/bpp03309

I have seen the odd case where the carriage hook that is supposed to grab the cutter is broken.

 Dear Sir

the cutter of the designjet 500 is very robust   open the windows door  bring the cutter from the left side to a place in the middle  and remove it by pulling it up  remove the spring  and open the spring to make more pressure and reinstall it , check the hanger on the carriage if it is in the right position and try . if error persist replace cutter
