Design Jet 1055cm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have just purchased a used Design Jet 1055cm Plotter and I am having an issue loading A4 or A3 paper.

When I line up the paper with the blue lines and close the door, the plotter ask about the type of paper.  I select Plain Paper and when I press enter the paper moves in slightly then the print head moves to the left end of the plotter then returns.  The paper then is drawn into the plotter but the right corner of the paper stops after a few centimeters and the left of the paper is still drawn in.  The result is the plotter determines the paper is squint and ejects the paper.

Can anyone please help with what could be wrong?

Regards,

Fraser

I have had a closer look at the plotter and on the right hand side of the plotter there is a piece of plastic sticking up.  I would think that this should be down to allow the paper to flow over it.

Is this the problem with the paperfeed and if it is, how can I fix the issue?
