I am having problems with my new 36" plotter. It is printing portrait size when landscape is selected, ie it wont print the whole A1 page in landscape so we are wasting alot of paper.
I have attached photos to explain what i mean, one is printing the whole drawing in portrait and the other is the drawing printed in landscape when it misses the title block

Hi,
Not sure from what application you are printing from, but try to change the rotation on it and at the print window.
You can also try installing the driver for an earlier OS, just make sure to remove the current one completely before installing.

Hi mike
thanks for your suggestions, I have done as you asked and its still not fixing the problem. I have also been on the phone to HP support and they dont seem to have any idea either.
The demo print works fine and prints out the whole A0 drawing.
anymore suggestions?

Make sure your setting in the driver, front panel and EWS are the same. There are autorotate features that can be enabled or disabled, along with an options that tell what settings to use when printing. If they do not match you can have unexpected results like the one you are having.
I have run into this problem with customers, usually first few days they have the machine while they are still familiarizing themselves with the features.
I would send a few test prints, changing settings until you get it how you want it. Once it is printing correctly, save those settings as a Pre-Set in your driver.

Mikeg81,
When I click on the links you provided, I am sent to a generic trouble-shooting page. Is it possible that the pages were removed?
I had the same autorotate problem a while ago when using Adobe Acrobat on OSX. I solved it by using the HP raster driver (for my Designjet T930). The raster driver gave you a 'finishing Option' which had an autorate feature.
Lately, when I tried to install the raster driver again, both on new and old computers, the autorotate feature is no longer available.
I thought perhpas your links might lead to better drivers.
THanks, MB
