Designjet T2530 Post Script

Hi, my company's plotter T2530 has an error code 89:03 which indicates an error on the stacker ramp motor. the plotter will always have the error at the 95% mark during startup and we can't enter the menu at all. We checked the ramp motor and we noticed that the gear connected to the motor is turning though only for a moment. every time the gear turns and stop then the error will pop out. Any ideas how to overcome this? Any relation with the position of the stacker ramp and valve during startup?

Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks!

Hi

Check Service menu for detailed steps (may be motor must be replaced), but first make tests:

https://shared.swissparts.ch/Manuals/HP/Plotter/HP%20Designjet%20T920,%20T1500%20and%20T2500.pdf

First enter in Diagnostic menu (page 116) and perform Stacker Ramps test (page 128)...

Hi, Skuks.

First thanks for replying.

I have done the stacker ramps test (with wheels) and it fails.

The same error 89:03 pops out.

What should I do next?

Thanks.

Stacker ramps motor should be replaced, and check if cable connected to the PCA is undamaged..
